Universal White Metal Alloy

Magna research brings you one alloy that joins all white metals including zinc die castings, "pot" metal, aluminum and lead and also will join any of these metals to practically any other metal such as copper, brass, steel or bronze.

Provides these unique properties:

  • Welds zinc base die castings (white metal) at the lowest application temperature of any rod in existence (368oF). This low heat prevents base metal damage and makes white metal bonding easy.
  • Is the first practical "solder" alloy for joining aluminum with soldering iron, which makes it practical to use this metal for roof gutters, flashings, vent ducts, and many applications not practical before soldering with an iron was possible.
  • Unique Magna 51 alloy and flux combination forms perfect high strength bonds and wets easily by defeating oxidation.
  • Magna 51 flux is considered the only highly active non corrosive flux for white metal in existence.
  • Magna 51 has such a high wettability that welders who could not weld white metal before can easily perform normally difficult zinc die cast repairs.
